Part of a wind mitigation inspection are the roof to wall connections which are accessed from the attic. Having certain types of connections among other "mitigations" can potentially lower the wind portion of your homeowner insurance premiums. The wind mitigation report is valid for 5 years. Remember to have it updated to ensure you continue getting the discounts.
