Double tapping

During the electrical portion of a home inspection, we will open the electrical panel to look for any issues or concerns. In this photo, we can see a situation we call a double-tap which is when two wires is shoved into the opening of a breaker switch which is designed for one wire. This could potentially cause an electrical fire.
